This 6-day journey takes you through the heart of northern Vietnam — a region rich in history, natural beauty, and authentic local life. You'll spend two days discovering Hanoi, one of Southeast Asia's most characterful capitals, before heading to Ha Long Bay for an overnight cruise among towering limestone karsts and emerald waters. A day in Ninh Binh rounds off the trip with peaceful river scenery and UNESCO-listed landscapes.

Designed with families and senior travelers in mind, this itinerary moves at a comfortable pace. We use electric carts in Hanoi's Old Quarter and traditional rowing boats in Ninh Binh — so everyone in the group, from grandchildren to grandparents, can enjoy the experience fully.

Tour Details

Day 1 – Hanoi Arrival Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport. Our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in central Hanoi. After check-in, enjoy a leisurely evening stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and the surrounding streets. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2 – Hanoi City Tour Full-day guided tour of Hanoi's highlights: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Presidential Palace, the Temple of Literature (Vietnam's first university), and the charming streets of the 36 Old Quarter — explored by electric cart, making it easy for all ages. End the day with a traditional street food walk led by your guide.

Day 3 – Hanoi → Ha Long Bay | Board the Cruise Morning transfer to Ha Long Bay (approx. 3.5 hours by private vehicle). Board your 4-star cruise ship at noon. Spend the afternoon kayaking through hidden lagoons, visiting Thien Cung Cave, and watching the sun set over the bay. Fresh seafood dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4 – Ha Long Bay Cruise | Return to Hanoi Wake up to misty limestone peaks. Morning tai chi on deck, followed by a cooking class on board. Disembark after brunch and transfer back to Hanoi. Check in to your hotel and enjoy a free evening in the city.

Day 5 – Ninh Binh Day Trip Day trip to Ninh Binh, known as the "Ha Long Bay on land." Take a traditional rowing boat through the Trang An Grottoes (UNESCO World Heritage Site), cycle through the Tam Coc valley, and enjoy a countryside lunch at a local family home.

Day 6 – Hanoi Departure Morning at leisure. Visit Dong Xuan Market for last-minute souvenirs. Transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your departure flight.
